All of our shipments are professionally packed to ensure the safety of your items in route. We reuse shipping materials where possible to reduce waste.

Return Policies
Free & Easy Returns
You can return your items by mail for free. Just print a pre-addressed UPS shipping label & send it back to us.

General (Non-Textbooks) The VandalStore accepts returns for a full refund up to 30 days from the original purchase date and must be in saleable condition. (Exceptions apply). An original receipt is required for a full refund. For online orders or items that need to be mailed in, simply print a pre-addressed shipping label & send it back to us:

Please include copy of receipt, name and phone number. If an original receipt isn’t available, the VandalStore may provide one of the following options: an equally valued exchange or a VandalStore gift card for the current price of the item.

Refunds will be issued in the same form as original purchase.

Textbooks & Course Materials Textbook/Course Material returns are accepted with receipt through the first 10 days of each semester. If sealed or wrapped, the seal must not be broken. Access codes must be intact and unused. The VandalStore will determine whether books presented for return are in new or used condition.

Summer term returns are only accepted during the first 3 days of class. You must return the book in the same condition it left the store.
Rental Textbooks Please refer to your rental agreement for rental terms. Rental textbooks may be returned in-person or returned free via UPS using a pre-addressed shipping return label.

Please include your name and student Vandal Number to ensure your textbook rental return is recorded correctly. Rental returns without this information may result in late fees or replacement book charges.

Art Supplies The following items cannot be returned: cut goods, all paper products, mat and foam boards, any open product and special orders. All other items must be returned within 30 days of purchase and be in saleable condition.
Clothing/Gifts All items must be returned within 30 days of purchase with merchandise tags. Undergarments, jewelry, linens, and articles that have been washed, worn or torn, are non-returnable.
Online Merchandise All merchandise must be returned within 30 days of its ship date. Original shipping and handling charges are non-refundable unless the merchandise is proven defective or the wrong merchandise was shipped. All returned merchandise must be received in saleable condition.
Technology Technology may be returned in new condition within 14 days with receipt. Items returned with an opened box will be subject to a restocking fee. Opened accessories may not be returned.
Defective/Wrong Merchandise If you receive defective merchandise, or are sent the wrong item(s), please contact us at 208-885-7112.
School and Office Supplies All school and office supplies must be returned within 30 days of purchase, unopened, and in saleable condition. Special orders are non-returnable without prior approval and may be subject to a restocking fee.
Food/Beverage/Sundries Non-returnable.

Exchanges Policy
If you would like to complete an exchange, please return the item you do not want and we will refund you for that item. Then, at any time, please place a new order for the new item you want. The cost to you, our customer, will be no different than if you completed a direct exchange. However, handling our exchanges this way greatly reduces turnaround time and ensures the item you are ordering is in stock at that time.
