Fanrocks are still shaped with hammers and chisels from natural sandstone quarried right here in Idaho. The stones are from the same quarry used to build the Idaho State Capitol Building. Sometimes seashells and petrified wood can be found embedded in the stone from an ancient seabed. Each rock is coated with UV resistant stone monument paint and stone sealer to ensure the rock stands the test of time.

Stone Care Tips
• Embossed stones can be fragile so do not grab the stone by the engraving. Handle with care and be sure they are placed on a flat surface.
• We seal our stones with 511 Impregnating Stone Sealant.
• For best results, keep sprinklers from hitting the engraving.
• If the stone begins soaking up water, we recommend re-sealing the stone to keep water out.
